The use of drones in all sectors is becoming common place, surveying sees particular benefits from their use as they allow a more complete picture of the subject of the survey to be produced.

This can be something as simple as a visual inspection of a roof without the need for costly scaffolding, reducing the risk to health and safety of personnel trying to access hard to reach areas, through to large scale mapping missions.

Arhwithrans are registered with the CAA for commercial operations, enabling us to undertake drone surveys and inspections.

This line of work has taken Arhwithrans to Africa where tasked with mapping 3.5 square kilometres of Maasi farmland which had been particularly damaged by soil erosion. As a result we have built up a strong relationship with our African counterparts.
